Hope you are having a great weekend! It's great weather here in Oklahoma for a run/bike ride on the trails or just going outdoors.
Sometimes, it's a challenge with festivities built into the weekend to make a workout happen (aka Mother's Day) but don't let that be an excuse. Have the whole family join in. :-)
Here's a good one that you can do indoors or OUT.
warm-up
jog - 1 minute
sumo squats - 1 minute
alternating lunges with chest press - 1 minute
butt kicks - 1 minute
clap hands in front and behind - 1 minute
heel to toe walks - 1minute
workout
run 20 minutes (fast but enjoyable pace)
25 step-ups each leg (use a park bench or your front step)
50 squats as fast as you can (use a bench or chair as your guide, your backside must touch and you must stand all the way back up) . Aim for less than 1 minute. Make it a competition between family members
50 alternating lunges
100 push-ups (using the park bench again so that you don't have to worry about putting your hands on the ground)
50 tricep dips (again, use a park bench/picnic table)
3 minute plank using the park bench.
DONE!
